This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used on raynlabs.io, why we use them, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Cookies let a website remember actions or preferences across sessions. Similar technologies (such as browser local storage and session storage) work similarly. For brevity, this policy refers to all of these as "cookies."
2. What we use, and why
2.1 Strictly-necessary cookies
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| session | Keeps you signed in. Set when you log in; cleared when you sign out. | Session |
| rn_locale | Stores your language preference. | Persistent (localStorage) |
| rn_cookie_ack | Records that you have dismissed the cookie notice. | Persistent (localStorage) |
| rn_selected_interval | Remembers the billing period you selected during signup. | Session (sessionStorage) |
| rn_pending_email | Stores your email after registration to display on the verification page. Cleared on sign-out. | Session (sessionStorage) |
| rn_install_guide_expanded | Remembers whether the install guide on your account page is expanded. | Persistent (localStorage) |
| rn_install_guide_completed | Remembers whether you have completed the install walkthrough. | Persistent (localStorage) |
These are strictly necessary for the Service to function. Disabling them will prevent you from signing in or using core features. Because they are strictly necessary, they are set without prior consent, as permitted by EU cookie law.
2.2 Third-party bot protection
Account creation and sensitive actions use Cloudflare Turnstile, a CAPTCHA-free bot-detection service that may set technical cookies for challenge purposes. Turnstile is provided by Cloudflare under its own terms and privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
2.3 What we do NOT use
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Cross-site tracking
- Third-party analytics (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.)
- Session-replay or behavioral-profiling tools
- Social-media share-button trackers
3. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. Most browsers let you view, edit, and delete cookies via their settings menu. See:
4. Changes to this policy
If we begin using cookies in new ways we will update this page and, where legally required, obtain your consent.
